Members of the Defence Service Commission and senior SANDF officials bades their farewell to Judge Justice Lebotsang “Ronnie” Bosielo in a hearty and well deserved function on 16 October 2012 at the Defence Headquarters. The Service Commission started its work in September 2009 under the former Minister of Defence and Military Veterans, Lindiwe Sisulu. Its scope was to research and improve the working conditions of the soldiers. “Judge Bosielo, would be remembered for his meticulous work, quick intellect and above all his sharp legal language during our liberations in the boardroom, said Maj Gen Bantubonke Holomisa who was the Master of Ceremonies for the function. While Gen Solly Shoke, Chief of the SANDF, expressed his gratitude for the sterling work the Commission had archieved under the Command of Judge Bosielo. “It is because of the work of the commission that we have soldiers of high morale, and you were able to restore the dignity of the soldiers in the community. The SANDF has launched a programme of action based on your important recommendations,” said Gen Shoke. As the Department of Defence and Military Veterans we would like to wish Judge Bosielo all the best as he takes up his permanent appointment as Judge in the Constitutional Court.
