PASSED AWAY IN A PARACHUTE ACCIDENT ON MONDAY,
21 FEBRUARY 2011

The Acting Chief of the South African
National Defence Force, Lieutenant General Temba
Matanzima wishes to announce the funeral service
of the late Gunner Jabulani David Masango (25)
who passed away in a Parachute accident during
Exercise Young Eagle on Monday, 22 February
2011.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday,
05 March 2011, 08H00, at Extension 2, Nigel,
Duduza.
Gunner Jabulani David Masango is survived by
his father Mr Bongani Masango and will be laid
to rest with full military honours. The service
will be conducted at the Emmaus Community Centre
hall and he will be laid to rest at Nigel
Cemetery.
Minister of Defence and Military Veterans, Ms
Lindiwe Sisulu, the Secretary for Defence, Ms
Mpumi Mpofu and the Acting Chief of the South
African National Defence Force have extended
their sincerest condolences to the family of the
deceased.
