MEDIA INVITATION BY DEPARTMENT OF DEFENCE: AIR FORCE GYMNASIUM CHANGE OF COMMAND PARADE

On Friday, 01 April 2011 the Air Force Gymnasium will be hosting the change of command parade where Colonel Mnoneleli Nicholas Sakwe will be handing over the reigns of command of the unit to Colonel Kevin Moonsamy.

Parades of this nature provide the South African Air Force (SAAF) with an opportunity to communicate and commit to its vision which is,“Our passion to serve, and the knowledge we have of our aircraft, will ultimately earn our Air Force the highest respect”. The parade will be graced by the presence of the members of the Air Force Command Council.

You are cordially invited to send a journalist and/or a photographer to cover the event. Journalists who are assigned to cover the event are requested to confirm their attendance as depicted below and should report at Air Force Base Waterkloof at 06:00.

Please be informed that transport is provided on a first-come-first-serve basis as there are limited seats on the aircraft.
