STATEMENT BY THE SOUTH AFRICAN NATIONAL DEFENCE FORCE (SANDF): CHIEF OF HUMAN RESOURCES MEDAL PARADE: THURSDAY 09 OCTOBER 2008

On Friday 10 October 2008, the Chief of Human Resources, Lieutenant General Derick Mgwebi, will host his first Chief Human Resources medal parade at the Personnel Service School parade ground.

This parade represents an opportunity for the Chief of Human Resources to honour deserving members from within the ranks of the Human Resources community.

Lieutenant General Mgwebi will present a number of notable medals and decorations to the recipients on parade, including the Southern Cross Decoration, a 40-year service medal, seventeen 30-year service medals and six 20-year service medals.

You are invited to send a journalist and a photographer/cameraperson to attend the parade on Friday 10 October 2008 at the Personnel Service School, Thaba Thswane at 08:40 for 08:50.
