INVITATION TO ATTEND THE SOUTH AFRICAN NATIONAL MILITARY VETERANS’ ASSOCIATION (SANMVA) CONFERENCE

The Department of Defence (DOD) will be hosting the South African National Military Veterans’ Association (SANMVA) Conference from the 26 to 28 September 2008 at the Booysens Hotel and Conference Centre, in Johannesburg.

The aim of the conference is to consolidate all the existing veterans associations into one association (SANMVA), as part of the overarching Government initiative to ensure accelerated service delivery to Military Veterans.

The media is invited to the official opening ceremony of the conference on Saturday, 27 September 2008, at 10h00, and the closing ceremony of the conference on Sunday, 28 September 2008, at 10h30.

You are hereby invited to send a journalist and photographer/cameraman to attend the SANMVA conference.
