The general public will once again have the

National Defence Force (SANDF). This will take
place during an exhibition, presented at Tshwane
International show from the 24 August-04
September 2005. This has been regarded as one of
the important events on the calendar of the

the South African National Defence in 2003, when

the significance of this demonstration.
The SANDF exhibition will be focusing on
foreign deployments mainly concentrating on the
role of the DOD/SANDF in Peacekeeping missions
in Africa, and how that contributes to the Nepad

many questions with regard to the need for a
Defence force. It will further highlight the
Human Resources Plan known as HR 2010 with
specific reference to the rejuvenation of the
SANDF (Military Development Programme) and the
role of the Reserve Force. The department will
also communicate successes and achievements on
service delivery to the community and its
contribution to Batho Pele.
The show will create an opportunity to the
public to have access to the relevant

about the Department. The Minister of Defence,
Mr Mosiuoa will also get the opportunity to
personally interact with the public within the
Imbizo context.
