Criteria
Awarded to officers and other ranks of the
SANDF who have distinguished themselves in the
execution of duty through brave or meritorious
conduct, leadership, devotion to duty,
praiseworthy service, or other distinguished
conduct concerning campaigns, military
operations or notable military actions and which
actions may not have warranted the award of a
particular decoration or medal for such
distinguished services.
