A tribute to the members who perished in the Agusta A109 helicopter crash in the Kruger National Park where they were deployed to protect our Rhino's
The SANDF was deployed in the Central African Republic under the banner of operation Vimbezela.
On 23 March they were ambushed which lead to a high intensity gun battle. Outnumbered at least 10 to 1, our soldiers held their position. This is a tribute to the 13 South African that perished that day.
